My kid questioned me today, papa what is pollution
Hearing that question, I got stucked in confusion
what should i tell her, how to make her understand
who developed this monster, who created this scary brand

I took her to terrace, showed her the plants
Showed her beautiful birds, and the temple chants
She watched carefully, the shriveled dead flower
Staring with wonder she, noticed no butterflies hover

Then i told her, when butterflies leave us forever
And go to their friend’s house, left with her is whatever
in this world with delusion, we call that pollution
