This transition has significantly reduced greenhouse gas emissions and water consumption. Additionally, Stanford has committed to solar power, aiming for 100% renewable electricity through campus installations and external agreements. The campus features numerous LEED-certified buildings that meet high standards for energy efficiency, water conservation, and environmental quality.
