On June 5, 2023, the Indo-Romania Film and Cultural Forum brought together filmmakers, environmentalists, and enthusiasts from both countries to commemorate World Environment Day. This momentous occasion showcased the screening of the captivating animal documentary, “Untamed Romania,” A film narrated by Mark Strong, directed by Tom Barton-Humphreys, Screen play Alex Paun and Tom Barton-Humphreys. The event aimed to foster cultural exchange, raise awareness about environmental conservation, and explore collaborative efforts between India and Romania.

The event showcased the profound relationship between India and Romania, with a special focus on environmental awareness and the screening of the captivating documentary, “Untamed Romania.” The event, held at Noida’s renowned Marwah Studios, brought together distinguished personalities such as Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University of Media And Arts and founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, and Asian Academy of Film and Television, H.E. Daniela Sezonov Tane, Ambassador of Romania, H.E. Javier Paulinich, Ambassador of Peru, H.E. Teodoro Maldonado Ambassador of Ecuador and Lt. Gen. Anil Malik. The gathering aimed to highlight the detrimental effects of plastic, foster international cooperation, and inspire positive action for a greener future.

Romania Ambassador H.E. Daniela Sezonov Tane talked about the adverse effects of plastic pollution. She emphasized the importance of reducing plastic consumption and increasing recycling efforts to safeguard our planet’s ecosystems.

The screening of the documentary, “Untamed Romania,” captivated the audience and shed light on Romania’s rich biodiversity and stunning natural landscapes.
