We stayed for two days in Kumily, Thekkady during our trip to Kerala. And we found a scary forest adjacent to our resort where people have witnessed wild animals like deer, tiger, monkeys etc. Entry is not allowed for people inside this Periyaar Tiger Reserve gate. It was funny but scary as well. Sharing some of our moments spent in this resort. Enjoy!
Got an opportunity to travel Mcleodganj in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. It was very beautiful place. Seeing Bhagasu temple and waterfall, really enjoyed it. The Dalai Lama temple complex, from where saw a great view of the Dhauladar mountain range. Visiting Chamunda Devi, Jwala ji, Kangra Mata, Kangra Fort, mind felt a strangely calm. Also went to HPCA cricket stadium of Dharamsala. It was awesome trip.
Tamil Nadu was great experience. I stayed in Wallajah road in Chennai and traveled to temples of Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram. I loved beach temples of Mahabalipuram though Chennai beach was not that clean. We visited St Thomas Church, Kapaleeshwar Temple in Chennai, Kamakshi Amman Temple & Ekambareswarar Temple in Kanchipuram and Shore temple in Mahabalipuram. Sculptures and stone carvings at heritage sites of Mahabalipuram were awesome and hilarious. Fabulous experience of Indian culture. Kanchipuram silk factories attracted us to buy few silk sarees for our female family members.
