Yogakshema, Delhi NCR’s only accredited Iyengar Yoga Center, was inaugurated by Padmabhushan Yogacharya BKS Iyengar on April 25, 2008 in the presence of Former Vice President of Indian Republic Mr. Bhairon Singh Shekhawt, Former Deputy Prime Minister of Indian Republic Mr. L K Advani, Former HRD & Science & Technology Minister Mr. Murli Manohar Joshi amongst other dignitaries. The building is aesthetically designed and unique in structure based on Japanese architechure and Egyption Golden proportions.

This state of the art Yoga Center is fully equipped with all the props and accessories used in Iyengar Yoga. There are two yoga halls with wooden floors, the larger of the two at ground level and the second one, in the basement which was inaugurated by Yogacharya Iyengar in 2011. The main hall has full-size windows which allow natural light to filter in and a view of the zen-inspired landscape outside.

Swami Prem Parivartan is popularly known as Peepal Baba. Swami Prem Parivartan has been planting trees since the age of ten. Based in Delhi, India, he travels all over the country to spread environmental awareness for planting trees. He delivers talks and lectures to villagers, community gatherings, and students, institutions to create awareness towards importance of planting more and more trees.

Peepal baba has himself planted several thousand of trees. He has been a role model for many. His enthusiasm and determination has inspired many to protect and plant trees. His life is dedicated to the increase of green cover on our planet.

He is the founder trustee of Give Me Trees Trust, an environmental charity devoted to planting trees. He considers planting trees as a celebration of life and an essential part of his spiritual journey, inspired by his master, Osho.

He is invited by families, institutions, communities, villages to inform them and inspire them to increase their green cover.

Peepal Baba was born in 1966 in Chandigarh, India. Born to a medical doctor in the Indian Army, he had the opportunity to travel across the country at a young age. He fell in love with the mountains, rivers and forests at a very young age. By the age of ten he started planting trees in his neighborhood. The hobby grew into a passion soon enough.
