The hidden contribution of IIT

IIT premier institute of India, is giving us top brains in various fields of Technology but is their way of thinking and innovating really contributing to promotion of Indian Technology all over the world. Now here by the Indian technology i mean, the technology that is created to benefit living beings and not for destroying them. Are these great Engineers researching on ancient Indian technologies or they are engaged with big discoveries of destructive technologies. Great Noble prize winners of India discovered in domestic languages, so do we have people who are sharing their researches in domestic languages. We are the people, who have given Devnagri and Brahmi lipis (Scripts) to the world so that they can speak, share their thoughts and ideas.  We have to think again, if we are selling ourselves cheaper, because Indian was never dependent on anybody in this world  and his/her skillset are much more than few lac dollars. An Indian who is educated with Indian education system and Indian gurus should sell his skills in gold or diamonds per hour because that is actually the reality, that is actually the value of skills of an Indian. I think we need to rethink what we are doing and working on exactly. At last Green Delhi Blog would only wish every professional of India, to perform best in what he/she is doing for India and World.

Extranets world with single door access

Now as we already know what extranets are, there are some common features that every extranet requires. Like if I talk about multinationals, then every multinational has several hosted solutions to improve their business productivity and they are investing huge in integrating these solutions to their websites. Now setting up several applications might be tedious task, but real challenge is to convert those multiple login areas into a single secure login known as SSO(single sign on). I was working with an OEM brand and they have several web portals running like Training
Portal, Web Conferencing System, Education Portal, ERP, CRM, Support Portal, Blog, Forum, Content Server, shopping cart and corporate website and all these modules required a separate login for each module. We worked with full dedication to execute single sign on. SSO should be the requirement of every business in coming years as no body will have time to remember separate login details for making inputs to multiple sections of their company website. And this single sign on needs to be a secure authentication that should be performed using one time passwords using crypto cards or Tokens. At Extranets World I am trying to solve such integration issues and helping my customers to make a one time login to all their online businesses. The world of extranets & intranets need a single door and key to get authentication to the authorized areas of an organization. Google is best example of such type of extranets although they are still working on eliminating the hassles of signing up again and again on their various websites. The best example that let me felt comfortable was singing in to articlesbase using my facebook login details … no need to fill in details again. Now that is what we are focusing on. Netsuite is also the best example of integrated business solution, that is ready to use with little front end customizations for ERP, CRM and E-Commerce Portal. I would love to hear about other best SSO integrated solutions from you which are user friendly and administrator & developer friendly. If you are interested in talking to me on web-integrated SSO (Single Sign On) solutions, then please join me on Extranetworld.com or on my green blog Greentechdelhi.com. I am mostly online on skype and you will find my skype information on both my websites. You can also visit my youtube channel named “Onlinemorning” with more than 50 technical & creative videos and then talk to me what you feel about us.

Clustering Human Network

I have always loved working in team environment. And we already know that group

Efforts can bring big results. If one person is down in his efforts, other motivated one can take over, giving him enough time to regain his energy. In the similar way while setting up intranets and extranets, it should be kept in mind that we are service providers we need to provide 24×7 services to our customers. And to avoid any downtime, we need to build a team of intranet or extranet servers those should take over each other when required. Each one should have common goals and similar configuration to understand each other in a better way.  Nobody should hide anything from others as they are friends who are working in a team environment called cluster. I have always tested various environments for clustering. Might it be a device, server or human being.  Clustering is every where either we configure it by building relationships between remote database servers, or in our human network.  Human network is the biggest example of cluster, where we communicate with each other to keep us updated of everything going around us. Similarly my Linux machines run parallel MPI programs using tools like LAM and OSCAR to make them updated according to the changes made on others. If I am using unified security gateway or Firewall on network, the device high availability feature helps in keeping the network always available due to cluster of firewalls sending configuration, signatures and certificates information to each other using VRRP protocol or FTP.  When we talk about databases, we use to cluster database server on various locations using remote system call scripts using various programming languages. Multiple processes are supported by threads, to share information and to backup each other when required to perform execution of task successfully.

In this way clustering is one of the important features of human network.  We at extranet world consider ourselves as cluster which has some common goals towards our customers. We are always creative and innovative because of cluster of minds behind this single name “Extranetworld.com”.
