arvind_kejriwalArvind Kejriwal, the 7th chief minister of Delhi is mechanical engineer from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He left his job in Tata Steel in 1992 to prepare for civil services examination and qualified it and joined Indian Revenue Services, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Govt of India in 1995.

He won Ramon Magsaysay Award for Emergent Leadership in 2006. He is the writer of book “Swaraj” which was published in 2012. The Parivartan organisation, founded by Kejriwal exposed a fake ration card scam in 2008.

As a civil society representative member of the committee constituted by the Government of India, Kejriwal drafted a Jan Lokpal bill, following a campaign with Anna Hazare. Kejriwal established party named “Aam Aadmi Party” in November 2012. His party won 28 seats in December 2013 Delhi legislative assembly elections and he became the second youngest chief minister after Chaudhary Brahm Prakash.
