Iktara group is organizing India’s 1st Plantothan- Run For Green where individuals &  nature lovers will run for green society holding saplings in their hand to create awareness in public. Objective of Plantothan is to create awareness for environment, making people understand the value of trees and plants in our lives.

This campaign will be organized in different parts of India like Delhi, Noida, Bengaluru & Mumbai.

Suggestions for Delhi run are Welcomed! Tell Us! Which Road is better for this cause, must be cover 3 km in a single run. Mail your feedback and suggestions to Vivek Gupta at info@searchbabu.com!

What Should We Do to Fill Delhi With Trees | What People of Delhi Want ?
  1. We should contact with RWA members of colonies and make small groups who will take responsibility to initiate for planting
  2. People who do jogging in park, distribute them plants and organize plantation competitions
  3. There is a need to save existing trees already being finished off at such a fast pace
  4. Spot suitable place where trees can be planted
  5. Must provide saplings to people at cheap rate which are easily available
  6. If any one cut or harm any tree for his/her personal benefits strong punishment should be there
  7. Keep track on already planted trees

Seth Anandram Jaipuria School in association with NurturePlanet NGO in Vasundhara, organized tree saplings plantation drive. Around 300 saplings were planted on the wide divider in front of school. Students of school participated with great enthusiasm.  Anubha Jain, founder of NurturePlanet NGO along with principal Manju Rana led the event which was supported by Municipal Commissioner Chandra Prakash Singh & Nagar Nigam activists.
